Build the future of Data Science as part of the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence (CoE). The CoE is a unique team within Guidehouse, focusing on solving our client's most critical challenges using Advanced Analytics, AI/ML, and Automation. The CoE works on a wide variety of projects; from predictive analytics models to support our healthcare, financial, and energy services divisions, to open source analysis for federal agencies, to applying a variety of deep learning models (ie, NLP, image recognition) to solve more complex problems.
You will play a key role in growing an Artificial Intelligence practice in one of the world's largest public sector consulting companies as well as in helping transform whole agencies and industries as we help customers charter their digital transformation journey.
Conduct assessments of the AI and Automation market and competitive landscape
Quickly identify and analyze key trends by pulling together disparate information and research
Develop original and insightful analyses and business model frameworks
Pull together information from our data science team and other experts to generate thought leadership on the major shifts in the technology industry
Collaborate with experts and stakeholders across the organization (eg, product teams, business development, business planning) as well as externally (eg, industry analysts, partners, customers)
Deliver insightful recommendations in a concise, and persuasive manner
Build consensus and effectively influence senior-level stakeholders
Manage capture, marketing, and other business development efforts.
Supporting staffing and recruiting efforts for the AI CoE
Helping productize and sell AI solutions across the public sector.

5+ years of experience managing software development teams
3+ years of experience leading development of Data Science projects using advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML)
3+ years industry experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, finance, corporate strategy, product management or related business fields
3+ years of Python experience
3+ years of Database (SQL/NOSQL) experience
Experience building solutions on Spark or equivalent Big Data ML systems
Experience building solutions at enterprise scale on cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
A deep understanding of advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) landscape
Comfortable with using Jira, Slack, SharePoint and other collaborative tools
Education: M.S./M.A. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or similar quantitative discipline.
Knowledge, experience, and skills:
Deep Learning (ie, NLP)
Spark, Scala, and Databricks
Building solutions that are delivered on OpenShift or similar container platform
Technical/product management and software experience
AGILE or SCRUM certification
