Our client is a fast-growing (170% last year) Network Infrastructure, Cloud and Datacentre and security services company. The client is around 60 people with revenues of 17 million GBP. Client's are mostly mid-market businesses and include Sega, the RFU, Battersey Power Station, and Ikea.

The Account Manager focuses on new customer acquisition, lead generation, opportunity and account development and managing customer relationships to achieve revenue and GM targets.

Principal Responsibilities


? Identifying and prospecting within existing strategic accounts, in order to expand our network within them and uncover new opportunities and maintain a pipeline of interested


prospects, orchestrating discussions with senior executives around their business needs


? Using initiative and creativity to prospect for strategic new customers


? Logging activity on Salesforce using all key features to structure sales activity and develop


account plans


? Liaising with suppliers to determine the best price and stock availability.


? Develop effective working relationships with colleagues and vendor account managers


? Qualifying marketing leads


Key Performance Measures


? Demonstrates a result orientated approach to exceed personal sales targets and improve


performance year on year


? Utilises resources of other team members to progress opportunities when required


? Accurately records all sales activity in CRM


? Pro-actively builds relationships with strategic prospective customers, demonstrates and


applies product knowledge to build sufficient pipeline to meet personal sales targets


? Ensures customer queries and/or concerns are addressed in a prompt manner








Requirements


? Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both face-to-face and on the telephone with a knowledgeable, approachable and professional manner


? Experience in a customer facing role, ideally with sales prospecting or business development experience at executive level


? A determined, outgoing & competitive attitude with a flair for sales and customer service


? Goal-oriented, methodical and results focused


? Ability to work under own initiative and with colleagues to achieve targets within a set timeframe


? Intellectual ability to understand business communications technologies and apply this


knowledge in sales calls


? Full UK driving licence preferred
