Solutions Account Director
The Role
My client is looking to recruit an experienced software solutions Account Director, with experience in one or more of the following areas: Network Management Systems, IT Services, Data Centre Infrastructure Management Systems or Business Process Management. Demonstrable experience and a collaborative, committed approach to customer engagement are essential for this role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for two Major Accounts, with a range of responsibilities including the following:
• Ability to communicate the business value of software solutions to create budget
• Comfortably network and build sponsors from the C-level to engineers within an account
• Organised and structured working methodology;
• Track record of closing £500k+ standalone software deals
• Track record of success in competitive scenarios
• Provide commercial support to the Project Management Office
• Provide account plans and commercial updates in a regular, timely fashion.
• The Account Director will oversee the sales and delivery cycle of the customer engagement and work closely with the Product Management, Business Analysts, Project Management, Development and Support teams to ensure a strong, positive customer experience.
Experience required:
Degree level educated, or equivalent experience.
10+ years industry experience, 5+ years in a complex software sales environment, with the following proficiencies:
• Working with Client’s to develop business cases
• Driving Software requirement understanding
• Manage and facilitate the software sales process for client solutions
• Proven ability to develop a clear understanding of client needs and the ability to articulate and present them within a commercial proposal
• Strong stakeholder management
• Experience of consultancy in software delivery.
Technical Background:
• IT/Network Management Systems
• IP/Networking/Security
• Web Based Application Management/Development
• Data Centre Infrastructure Management
• Complex Software Solutions.

• Ability to motivate and inspire other team members, within both TDB Fusion and the Customer.
