Cobham is seeking a Principal Design Engineer, RF MicrowaveSubsystems. In this position you will work in a highly motivatedteam environment to design and develop advanced miniature microwaveand millimeter wave subsystems and components. Applications includemissile front ends, radar receivers and wideband transceivers.
Develop a variety of microwave and millimeter wave circuits,including amplifiers, filters, frequency multipliers, high powerlimiters, oscillators, switches, mixers, etc., as required tosupport subsystem activities.Design, develop and document multi-function microwaveintegrated circuits (MICs) modules and circuit card assemblies(CCAs).Work in multi-disciplined project teams through developmentprograms.Achieve technical compliance within schedule and budget, andassist in generating technical proposals.Provide cost inputs for both recurring and non-recurringengineering. Requirements:
BSEE and 10+ years' OR MSEE and 7+ year's directly-relatedexperience designing and developing advanced microwave andmillimeter wave subsystems and components.Experience with linear simulators, EM simulators.Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance. Preferred:
Experience with ADS, HFSS.Experience with Spice modeling.Prior successful project engineering experience is a plus.Security:
