I am currently looking for a number of Sales Directors for a 550 person Canadian client of mine that has a wide range of OSS, VAS, BSS and analytics solutions selling into the Service Provider market.

They are looking for an Overlay OSS Sales Director who would support their European Sales team by managing the OSS pipeline and get involved to close deals. The person would effectively own the OSS sales target for Europe.

The ideal background for the role is someone that has a deep understanding of OSS from a technical perspective and has got into Account Management / Sales through the presales route.

Someone that has headed up the OSS Practice for a region for a bigger company or someone leading a presales team looking for a step into a more commercial role or a sales director with extensive OSS sales experience might all potentially work in this role - essentially it's an OSS Sales SME the client is looking for.

The client itself has bought several European companies in the OSS space and is likely to acquire more in the future to build out it's portfolio.

The role would require someone to invoice the client if they are based outside of either Ireland or Sweden.
