Overview

Sanderson in working alongside a globally recognised brand based in Glasgow, who are looking to add a Lead Mobile Developer (iOS or Android) to head up a new team.

You'd be working in a lead/senior capacity on an application at the head of this organisation's digital strategy. The app itself currently serves over 15 million weekly users and has been downloaded over 40 million times.

You'd be expected to lead in the design and implementation of software applications whilst ensuring on time delivery of solid and industry leading solutions. You'd work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing technical direction for the products that you are responsible for - ensuring best practice is employed and that only the best quality is produced.

Required Skills

• Demonstrable knowledge of software architecture principles and a history of leading development practices
• Exceptional development skills and experience building mobile applications: ideally this will be in Swift on iOS, and or Kotlin on Android.
• History working with Continuous Integration and knowledge of the app store release process.
• Ability to share your knowledge and add to the progression of best practices throughout the business.
• Proven understanding of test driven development
• Demonstrable experience in leading technical teams
