Role title: Business Development Manager
Reports to: Head of Fraud Protection Services
Start: ASAP
Salary: £60-80K + bonus uncapped

Growing revenues via new partner acquisition and development of key accounts. UK and International focus

Financial Responsibility:
Contribution to annual budget of £3Million +

Key Accountabilities:
Educating industry about Operator network data services and providing solution expertise and advice
Assessing market requirements and reviewing competitor landscape to identify new commercial opportunities
Defining a business development strategy and building a sales pipeline to ensure new partner onboarding and maximization of existing accounts
Presenting portfolio of solutions and key benefits to partners and enterprises direct
Representing company at key events / exhibitions and at any speaker opportunities
Delivering accurate forecast reporting and ensuring sales pipeline is kept up to date
Providing thought leadership to help scope long term business strategy
Working with relevant internal teams to ensure processes are being adhered to and all contracts are up to date and accurate

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in selling digital identity / fraud protection solutions
Relevant contacts in retail or finance sectors; and / or digital platform providers
Proven track record in a business development environment with long sales cycles and complex solutions
Experience at taking new solutions / products to businesses and creating a market need

Problem Solving:
Work in an agile and flexible manner, demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude.
Work with customers identifying their requirements and providing the most appropriate solution
Must use initiative to explore various methods in order to resolve issues, problems and blockages without having to refer back to line manager for guidance or support.

Decision Making:
Make high level revenue and service affecting decisions.
Support and inform strategic decisions on the direction of JT in the Fraud Protection Services sector.
Judge commercial importance over strategic value and make appropriate decisions, gaining maximum benefit for the business.

Planning and Organising:
Liaise with UK sales team to ensure partnership opportunities are lined up to support new territory roll out
Maintain regular communications with customers.
Manage internal resources, contractors, suppliers, and client relationships, orchestrate events, structure meetings and lead negotiations up to C level.

Influencing and Relationships:
Educating key sectors and partners on value of Operator data services
Engaging with senior decision makers to negotiate and agree partnership contracts
Account management focus to ensure development of key accounts and continual growth of commercial revenues
Internal stakeholder management to ensure full co-operation form support teams

Providing regular business updates to Head of Fraud Management Services and at times wider management team
Effective oral and written communication skills are paramount.
Outline and define complex customer requirements and present clear solutions
Understanding of and experience with contractual frameworks; SLAs etc.
