As a 5G Wireless Software Engineer you will
Design, code, and integrate 4G/5G base station software on Intel architecture.
Help design scalable software architectures that run in virtualized environments while meeting Real Time requirements of next generation wireless networks.
Work with partners, customers and other internal teams to deliver highly optimized next generation wireless technology software for large scale production deployments.
Utilize the latest technology and programming techniques to realize the full capacity of silicon for L1/L2/L3 stack workloads.
Code, document, design, and release according to latest industry proven software processes.
Create software that is open, modular, scalable, well documented, and with fully integrated diagnostics.
Develop best known methods for packet processing and signal processing to enable partners to fully realize capabilities of the silicon.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school-work/classes/research and/or relevant job and/or internship experiences.
5+ years of software experience (C/C++)
Experience in Wireless or similar technologies (ex. LTE and 5G standards) or similar Real Time Embedded application experience
Experience in at least one of these areas (RTOS preferably RT Linux (Kernel and user space), wireless physical layer algorithm development, MATLAB, link level simulation, virtualization, cloud native platforms)
Must be willing to interface and work closely with customers to resolve technical issues
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
10+ years of software experience (C/C++)
Experience with cache and memory management optimization is a plus
Experience with RF transport layer and network IP stack is a plus
Experience with AVX2 or AVX512 programming is a plus
